  • What is your cancelation and refund policy for membership?
You may cancel your membership at any time. Monthly memberships will be cancelled the next billing cycle and access will be maintained until that time. Annual memberships will be cancelled on the last day of the calendar month you elect to cancel. If an annual membership is canceled early, the monthly rate will be applied retroactively and you will be refunded accordingly. Refunds requests outside of this policy will be considered on a case by case basis. If you would like to request a refund other than what our policy provides, please contact us. We will respond to your request within 72 hours. Please note that memberships are non-transferable.
  • How do I cancel or reschedule a drop-in class?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your class, you may do so on our website. Classes can be canceled or rescheduled under "My Bookings" when you are logged in to Pain Care Collective. If you do not already have a login, you can create one using the email address used to book.
  • What is your cancelation and rescheduling policy for live classes?
If you cannot make it to a class, drop in classes must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled class time in order to receive a refund. Classes can be rescheduled without forfeiting the cost of the class up to 24 hours prior to a scheduled class time. If you have an unforeseen emergency that limits your ability to cancel or reschedule within the defined policy, please contact us. If you are a member, there are no charges related to cancellation or reschedules of live classes. However, in order to best prepare for leading our classes, we still have the same cancellation and reschedule requirements. Cancellations or rescheduling must be carried out at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled class time. Please note that live class links are non-transferable.
  • I didn't receive an email when I canceled my class. Is it canceled?
Cancellation emails are automated, but can sometimes land in your junk or spam folders. If you cannot locate a cancellation email in any of these locations, you can also confirm cancellation by checking “My Bookings” when you are logged in. All bookings, including those that were canceled or rescheduled, will be visible. You can also reschedule the class here. To assure you receive emails from us, make sure to favorite our email address.

  • What kind of content will my patients and clients get access to?
We offer three categories of yoga classes, all aimed at changing the nervous system: 1. Foundations classes offer practices for getting in touch with and getting to know our bodies, minds, and breaths through a lens of curiosity and exploration, all while staying in a place of ease and safety. 2. Calm classes focus on relaxation, using techniques that down regulate the nervous system. Over time, calm classes can help make a parasympathetic state more easily accessible to class practitioners. 3. Build classes seek to help practitioners expand what they're able to do without increasing their pain. This entails challenging the nervous system by working at the edge of where discomfort or pain begins to increase, thereby teaching the brain that this movement is actually safe. In addition to our movement classes, our on-demand library also features breath practices, meditations, and short videos teaching skills that can easily be taken "off the mat" and into the practitioner's daily life.
  • What happens after I fill out the referral form?
Your patient or client will receive an email from Pain Care Collective immediately, inviting them to sign up for their free 3-week membership. Once they register, they will immediately have access to our on-demand class library, as well as free access to our live classes.
  • Who should I refer?*
Because we know that pain comes from the brain, anyone with pain, regardless of the location, will benefit from these practices. We also know that the pain system becomes more sensitized the longer pain persists. Patients and clients facing chronic pain (pain lasting more than 3 months), therefore, may find even more significant improvements in pain by engaging with the mind-body practices we offer at Pain Care Collective. *It is important that all clients and patients have been evaluated by a medical professional prior to engaging in any new activity or mind-body practice.
